Responsibilities for workday consultant

  • Use Workday to build reports such as custom invoices, payslips, bank checks, merit statements, In Workday Studio

  • Preferred candidates will have current certifications in Workday HCM and/or FIN and experience with BIRT reports in Workday but will also consider candidates that have this experience but with no certification

  • Preferred candidates will have current certifications in Workday Payroll with two or more years Workday Payroll implementation experience

  • Candidates with deep experience in Workday Compensation and willing to learn BIRT will also be considered

  • Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions

  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze their Payroll business requirements and incorporate these into Workday

  • Optimize existing Workday Payroll implementations

  • Candidates with experience in other Workday modules such as Absence & Time or Benefits is considered a plus

  • Establish project teams working with business/IT partners to identify critical members in order to accomplish work

  • Organize efficiently, with appropriate sense of urgency to meet deliverables on time

Qualifications for workday consultant

  • Ability to develop cost/benefit analysis for identifying strategic recommendations

  • In depth knowledge of the Workday business object model and building/maintaining calculated fields

  • Experienced with Workday domain security and able to troubleshoot/enable/control report access for select populations

  • Strong collaboration with all levels and geographies of organization, both technology and non-technical

  • Self-motivated with ability to work with no supervision or remote

  • A minimum of three years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), HCM implementation and upgrade experience
